I got out to a conference at the beginning of the month, Blastoff Rails, in Albuquerque, NM, but the main event was that we finally, just last week, moved into our new house.

I can't properly word the amount of time and stress it's taken, especially at the end, but we're here.

We're still unpacking and have a bit of new furniture still to be delivered, so things aren't quite yet presentable. It's getting closer day-by-day.

Here's a peek at the inside.

Next month I'll return to somewhat normal posting, with the only house-related item possibly being about the finishing steps.

Movies

The only movie we made a little time for between moving was this one...

  • Supergirl (2026) was another film that felt more like what you'd read in a comic book. I felt the villain could have been better and Momoa in the Lobo role sounds so much like Beetlejuice that I couldn't get that out of my head any time he talks.
